Your Match Directors

Frank Wright grew up out in the country and began shooting when he was very young. He got the bulk of his firearm training in the Marine Corps and later shot a few NRA pistol matches. Frank was then introducd to GADPA in 2005, and that was the first type of action pistol competition he had ever seen. He and Capel English hit it off well, and Frank became a GADPA volunteer and a Safety Officer: duties he still has today. Frank also shoots IDPA and GGSF. He's also a member of the NRA and GCO, and he enjoys spending his spare time hunting and fishing. He and his amazing wife Arlene have three great kids and four wonderful grandkids.

Mark Worthen started shooting when he got his first Daisy BB gun for his 7th birthday. At 14 he bought his first shotgun with his Dad.  He's been shooting all his life. Mark started competitive shooting with GADPA in 2010 and pretty much became a volunteer right from the start. He is part of our Saturday set up crew for the Outdoor Matches.  One of his passions in life is teaching new shooter safe gun handling skills and being a positive influence.  He also loves to explore our great nation having visited 39 of the lower 48 states and 3 Canadian provinces on a motorcycle.  Mark's other passion is his wife, Suzanne, who is also a GADPA shooter.  Together they have three daughters and seven grandsons.
