IDPA Shooters,

Our next monthly match will be held on August 28th at South River Gun Club. We will hold the classifier as an alternate match, which means you may shoot one or the other, but not both. This classifier will be limited to the first 15 shooters who note they want to shoot it when they pre-register. Everyone else will shoot our normal monthly match.
If you are bringing new shooters, either arrive in time for the safety briefing or make sure they view our new shooter Safety Briefing video (http://www.gadpa.com/index.php/ipda/new-shooter-briefing ) prior to arrival.
Please pre-register on-line (http://www.gadpa.com/index.php/monthly-match/register ) for this match. Pre-registering saves us time and help to get the match started on time.
Registration is open from 7:45 to 8:45. If you are late, you’ll have to wait until after the match has started and will have to shoot with the squad of our choosing. Please don’t be late and remember that the speed limit at the range is 10 MPH!
New shooter briefing starts at 8:15.
First shot after the shooters meeting at 9:00.
Registration for the 2011 IDPA Georgia State Championship is now closed because the match is full. If you would like to be put on the waiting list, let me know.
Please note that we will not be holding a match in September due to the annual Glock match which will be held on our match weekend. We’re sorry, but Glock rents the entire gun club and it represents a significant amount of income for SRGC.
Remember that you may shoot one IDPA match without joining the national organization; however, you are required to join IDPA prior to shooting your next match.

One quick reminder, it is the shooter’s responsibility to make sure their scoresheet is correct. It seems like every month we have one or two scoresheets turned in with no time written on them. Please look at your scoresheet when you finish the stage to make sure the time, point and penalties are correct. If there is no time on the scoresheet and the match has been broken down, we have to give you a “Did Not Finish” (DNF) for the match.
Due to the Glock match, we will not have a monthly match in September:( So our next match is the 2011 IDPA Georgia State Championship on October 29th.
