Somebody asked how you can be shown as “Most Accurate” when you have more points down than other shooters. The answer is because I have the scoring software configured for the purposes of figuring out the most accurate shooter to penalize a shooter 10 additional points for every hit on a nonthreat. This DOES NOT affect your overall score–just your chances at being “most accurate”. So since Peter had no HNT, he earned “Most Accurate”. From a hostage’s perspective I think this is pretty fair, don’t you?

Is there an IDPA match Monday 1/2/12 at Stoddards? Can I shoot it if I am not a member at Stoddards? Can I shoot lead bullets? What time would I need to be there – I am not new to IDPA?

Mike,

Our normal match is the 4th Sunday of each month. Unfortunately, we won’t have a match in December since it is Christmas weekend. Our next match will be the 4th Sunday in January.

David and Patrick do a great job running the match each Monday night. This is a good place for new shooters to get started without feeling pressure or intimidation. They are very safety conscious and helpful in telling you exactly what you did wrong to help you improve the next time. The more you practice, the more fun you will have!
