Weekly IDPA matches started at Big Wodds Goods in March of 2011. IDPA is now available to the shooters in Cherokee County (NW of Atlanta)  The facilities are first class and we look forward to developing a new group of shooters in this part of the metro Atlanta area. New shooters are always welcome. If you are interested in IDPA we suggest you read our New Shooter Info page, pack your gear and head out to our next match.

Matches are held on alternating Thursday evenings. The match starts at 7:00 PM. If you are a new shooter, please arrive 30 minutes early and request a safety briefing. The typical match consists of 4 stages requiring approximately 50 rounds and lasts approximately 2 hours. One of the great things about shooting indoors is that the weather does not impact the match, so come on out!

Brian Whitley is the match directors for the Thursday night match at Big Woods Goods.  Brian has been shooting IDPA since 2008 and was certified as a Safety Officer in 2009 and has graciously donated his time to get this match up and running.
