Atlanta Firearms Training will be holding an IDPA clinic on May 22, and 23 for those interested in participating in IDPA competitions. The Saturday course will overview IDPA rules, teach the students basic tactical pistol skills relevant to IDPA competitions and the students will shoot a Classifier at the end of the day to establish their skill level for IDPA competition. The next day, Sunday, the student will shoot an actual IDPA match with their instructors present to provide advice and guidance.
The $150 course fee includes the South River Gun Club range fee of $20 and the IDPA match fee of $20. The course is taught by Expert Level IDPA Safety Officers, While designed for new IDPA shooters, the course may also be appropriate for current IDPA shooters wanting a brush up on basic skill sets.
